How US local search works
Whether you are in Columbus, Dallas or San Diego, local rankings depend on your business: a complete Google Business Profile, consistent name, address and phone across the web, genuine reviews, and service or location pages that describe the areas you really serve. None of that requires me to be in your state. It requires accurate local facts from you, and careful work on the data.
In the US, it is also worth keeping your details consistent beyond Google: Apple Business Connect for Apple Maps, Bing Places, and review sites such as Yelp where your customers already look.
Working across time zones
Bandung runs on UTC+7 all year. That puts me 11 to 15 hours ahead of the continental US, depending on your time zone and daylight saving.

Automation and compliance
Automated follow-up is powerful, but US rules still apply. Commercial email falls under the CAN-SPAM Act, which requires clear sender details and a working unsubscribe option. Text messages and automated calls are covered by the TCPA, which generally requires prior consent. Workflows I build include consent fields and opt-outs, and final legal questions should go to your own adviser.

No, and I would not recommend that for my own site or yours unless there is a real presence in each place. Pages that only swap the state name are thin and risky. Your local pages should reflect where you actually serve customers.
Most work runs by email and WhatsApp with overnight turnaround. Video calls on Google Meet or Zoom are scheduled at the start or end of your working day, depending on your time zone.
