United Kingdom • Remote delivery • Morning calls

SEO consultant for UK small businesses, from London to Glasgow.

Get found in Google, Maps and AI answers, then answer every enquiry fast. I work remotely with UK service businesses such as trades, clinics, restaurants and B2B firms, auditing and fixing the things that stop customers finding and contacting them.

How UK local search works

Your local SEO is built around your town, not mine.

Whether you are in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds or Bristol, local rankings depend on your business: a complete Google Business Profile, the same name, address and phone number everywhere online, genuine reviews, and service or location pages that describe the towns and postcodes you really cover. None of that requires me to be in the UK. It requires accurate local facts from you, and careful work on the data.

UK customers also check more than Google. It is worth keeping your details consistent on Apple Business Connect, Bing Places and Yell, making sure your trading name matches your Companies House record where relevant, and collecting reviews on the platform your customers trust, whether that is Google, Trustpilot or Checkatrade.

Typical work for UK clients

  • Technical SEO and AI-search readiness audit
  • Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places and Yell clean-up
  • Service-area setup for trades that work from home rather than a shop
  • Town and service pages written from the areas you really cover
  • Schema for your business type (Dentist, Plumber, Restaurant and more)
  • Google Ads with call, form and chat tracking
  • Lead capture and follow-up automation

Working across time zones

Your morning call, my afternoon.

Bandung runs on UTC+7 all year, with no daylight saving. That puts me 7 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 6 hours ahead in summer, which leaves a comfortable overlap every working day.

Automation and compliance

Follow-up that respects UK rules.

Automated follow-up is powerful, but UK rules still apply. Personal data falls under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and marketing emails and texts are covered by PECR, which generally requires consent, with a limited soft opt-in for existing customers. Workflows I build include consent fields, clear sender details and a working opt-out, and final legal questions should go to your own adviser.

UK client questions

Common questions from UK businesses.

Can a remote consultant do local SEO for my UK town?

Yes. Local SEO is mostly data work: your Google Business Profile, consistent business details, reviews and location pages. I need accurate local facts from you, such as the towns and postcodes you cover and real photos, and I handle the rest remotely.

When can we have live calls?

Bandung is 7 hours ahead of the UK in winter (GMT) and 6 hours ahead in summer (BST). Your morning overlaps with my afternoon, so a Google Meet or Zoom call between 9am and 11am UK time usually works well.

Do you work with UK directories and review sites?

Yes. Alongside Google, I check that your details match on Apple Business Connect, Bing Places and Yell, and on the review platforms your customers actually use, such as Trustpilot or Checkatrade for trades.

Do you write in British English?

Yes. Pages, reports and messages for UK clients use British spelling and terms, such as optimise, enquiry and postcode.

How do I pay?

Projects are quoted against a written scope and invoiced in US dollars, the same as for other international clients. Larger projects are split into stages, each with its own deliverable.
