Do I need separate English and French pages?
If you serve customers in both languages, separate pages linked with hreflang are the most reliable approach. A translation widget on a single page is rarely indexed well in the second language.
Canada • Remote delivery • English & French sites
From Toronto to Vancouver, get found in Google, Maps and AI answers. I work remotely with Canadian service businesses, auditing and fixing local SEO, site structure and lead follow-up, including sites that need to work in both English and French.
What is different in Canada
Many Canadian businesses, especially in Quebec and in bilingual markets, need English and French versions of their pages. The mistake I see most is a single page with an automatic translation widget, which search engines struggle to index properly. Separate URLs for each language, linked with hreflang tags such as en-CA and fr-CA, let Google show the right version to the right searcher.
For local visibility, the basics are the same as anywhere: a complete Google Business Profile, consistent business details on Apple Maps, Bing Places and directories such as Yelp and YellowPages.ca, and genuine reviews.
Working across time zones
Bandung is on UTC+7 all year, which puts me roughly 11 to 15 hours ahead of most Canadian clients.
| Your time zone | Difference from Bandung | In practice |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern (Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal) | 11–12 hours | Send a request at the end of your day; progress is ready the next morning |
| Central (Winnipeg) | 12–13 hours | Same overnight turnaround |
| Mountain (Calgary, Edmonton) | 13–14 hours | Short overlap early in my morning for live calls |
| Pacific (Vancouver, Victoria) | 14–15 hours | Video calls work well at the end of your working day |
Automation and CASL
Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) generally requires consent before sending commercial electronic messages, plus clear identification and a working unsubscribe option. Lead workflows I build record how and when consent was given and keep opt-outs working automatically. For specific legal questions, please check with your own adviser.

I structure and optimise bilingual sites, but French copy should be written or reviewed by a fluent French speaker. I can work alongside your translator or team.
Most work runs by email and WhatsApp with overnight turnaround. Video calls on Google Meet or Zoom are scheduled at the start or end of your working day.
Projects are quoted and invoiced in US dollars against a written scope agreed before work starts.
Send your website, languages and service area. I will reply with a recommended starting point.
