Small business automation consultant.

Connect enquiries to organized, timely follow-up. Practical business process automation for service companies that want fewer manual handoffs, cleaner lead records, faster acknowledgements and reliable follow-up without losing human control.

Automation services

Start with one process that has a measurable business purpose.

Automation is scoped around triggers, data, decisions, exceptions and ownership. The goal is not to automate everything; it is to reduce repetitive work while keeping important decisions visible.

01

Lead capture and qualification

Standardize form data, identify lead type or priority and route each enquiry to the correct path.

02

Tracking and assignment

Create or update records in Google Sheets or an agreed CRM, then notify the responsible person or team.

03

Acknowledgement and follow-up

Send a relevant first response, wait for the agreed period and check the latest status before following up.

Typical workflow

Form submission to follow-up record.

A lead workflow can connect your website form to qualification rules, a tracker, acknowledgement email, internal notification, status review and a conditional follow-up. Each branch is tested with sample data before handover.

Automation questions

Common questions about workflow projects.

Which process should I automate first?

The one that costs you money when it is late. For most service businesses that is lead follow-up — an enquiry sitting unanswered for two days is a lost quote. Start there rather than with whatever is most annoying, because annoying and expensive are not the same thing.

Do I need to buy new software?

Usually not. Most workflows I build connect tools a business already pays for — a website form, Google Sheets or a CRM, email, and a messaging app. n8n handles the logic between them. If a new subscription genuinely is needed, I say so before you commit, and it stays your account.

What happens if the workflow breaks?

Every workflow I build includes error handling and a visible failure path, so a broken step surfaces instead of silently dropping a lead. You get handover documentation covering what each node does, what to check first, and how to pause the workflow safely.

Will automation replace my staff?

No, and workflows built on that premise tend to fail. The goal is removing repetitive handoffs — copying details between systems, remembering to chase someone, typing the same acknowledgement. Decisions, approvals, exceptions and customer relationships keep clear human ownership.

Who owns the automation after the project ends?

You do. Workflows run in your accounts, credentials stay yours, and documentation is written so another developer could pick it up. Nothing I set up should make it expensive to work with someone else later.

How long does a workflow take to build?

A single trigger-to-action workflow of up to three steps is usually 3–5 business days including testing. A full lead capture and follow-up system with CRM connection, notifications and reminder logic typically runs 2–3 weeks, most of which is testing edge cases rather than building.

Which process should you automate first?

Describe the repetitive task, current tools, approximate volume and desired outcome. You will receive a written recommendation by email.
